Welcome to the third edition of La Chaumière.

JAN ‘22 - Rich & Lora and Kelly & Vishal are thrilled to be taking over the home of Laura Bradbury & Franck Germain in Franck’s home village of Villers-la-Faye. Kelly and Rich are siblings and together with their spouses, they have collectively visited France dozens of times and have been dreaming of international living.

In 2018 Kelly and Rich visited their friend Tom, The Hungry Cyclist, a mere 15km south of Villers la Faye. When they got off the train in Beaune, Kelly said, “I am going to live here someday.” In 2020 Kelly got hooked on the Grape Series, which is based on Laura’s true story. Kelly dreamed even more of living in France. Being a super fan and subscriber to Laura’s newsletter, Kelly bookmarked La Maison des Chaumes as a future place to stay.

Fall of 2021, Laura announced in her newsletter that she and Franck were going to sell the home, Kelly couldn’t resist and was curious. Next thing you know they were all on a Zoom call discussing details and now here they are. They plan to continue to run the property as a vacation rental and will use it themselves a few times a year.
